The claim was handled efficiently; however, I don’t believe any research was done to support my claim that Amazon delivery was responsible for the accident. I stated in the claim that I have a neighbor that witnessed the event but the witness has never been contacted. I think that ARC received the estimate for replacement of the mailbox and offered me half of that amount and hoped I would accept which I did. It all seemed to work out for everyone concerned except for me who had to come out of pocket an additional $300 to be made whole again.

The upfront process was painful when our claim went unanswered due to confusion on the Amazon side issuing us a case/claim number the Amazon system we were asked to submit evidence of damages would not recognize such number; which was resolved after persistence on our side to pressure Amazon to resolve the internal error. After which the process went smoothly and efficiently.
ARC was extremely professional with which to deal. Resolved my issue, promptly courteously and professionally.
I found it curious that rather than hire a company to repair the damage, I said I'd do the work myself (buy, transport, mix pour the concrete, and chain). I estimated the materials to cost $50. I was provided $48.99. Without knowing the length of chain needed it seems petty to arbitrarily short me $1.01. Clearly not a large sum, negligible for me, just petty.
I wasn't so sure how an insurance claim against Amazon would proceed, but the process was efficient and resolved quickly. Thank you for taking care of the damage we incurred.

Did not agree with the labor rate of $17.50/hour,
An unfortunate accident led to this claim. Negligence did not play a part in it. If anything, the delivery driver was trying too hard to avoid the very incident that occurred. Once sufficient documentation was submitted to verify the damage done, the claim was resolved promptly.
