According to google the average cost to have a mailbox replaced in my area is $285. I feel that the amount given was on the low side but since I didn’t want to spend the time to have someone come and quote the job I guess it’s not to far off.

My only issue. I now have to waste my time to wait for the people to come out and replace this. I should get some compensation for my time. This was not an issue created by myself. This was a driver issue. I will lose at least a half day
