As I write this I realized that it is based on the “Check is in the Mail” promise. It did take a while getting through to the right person via the call center. From that point on I think what has transpired has been handled well. These things happen and you appear to have a good system in place.

Initially my first email from ARC went to my SPAM folder. I have Comcast. So I just wanted to let you know that people who have COMCAST or XFINITY email may not get some of the correspondence from you due to an automatic filter in their email settings. Otherwise, everything was handled wonderfully by Amazon. What was a jaw dropping experience for me initially was handled perfectly. I was able to pay to get my mailbox re-seated. And I will be able to replace all of my Christmas decorations that were destroyed by the delivery truck. Some of them were from my childhood but I will replace them with new ones from Amazon. I have already been touting Amazon to everyone and anyone that I talk to. Hats off to Amazon rescuing what had been a holiday downer and making everything right. My New Year started on a great note thanks to the ARC team.

I appreciate the ARC claim staff. I was appalled at the drivers reaction to the cause for this claim. They didn’t file a claim or report any damage. They left and did not even deliver the package after knowingly knocking down my mailbox. Terrible representation of Amazon.

My only question would be why after my initial talk on the phone with an Amazon customer service against who said you would be contacting me I never spoke again with a human agent to explain what had transpired with the truck…but despite my requests for that you did come through and I guess just trust my fence man was honest because his bid was so fair and I’m very grateful that you’ve sent me the payment and it’s all now resolved . Thank you for following through so quickly. In this day and age that kind of customer care is rare !!

The claim department was very professional I do believe the driver should have stopped as we were outside asking her to stop as we we’re willing to get rugs and cardboard for under her tires which would have prevented this. Drivers should also in cases like this let us know how to proceed with the process and maybe even say they are sorry for the damages. Once we found a number to contact we were handled with respect and professionalism.
