An option for credit back to my credit card or Amazon credit for a future purchase would be a better option. Together with replacement cost, some sort of additional $ credit back to my Amazon account would be a good courtesy.
It took me a while (a few days) to reach someone to help me but once I did - it was a great experience. She helped me and got everything taken care of on the same day!!!

I was unsure of how Amazon would react / reimburse me for my claim. An Amazon driver, who barrels through our neighborhood demolished our mailbox and left without note etc. But, I was more than thrilled with Amazon service in taking care of my claim and reimbursing me in full! I am very pleasantly surprised how professional and perfectly they handled everything!

I have only ever had 2 other insurance claims in my 54 years, one auto and one home and this claim was by far the easiest and fastest resolution I have experienced.
I was very disappointed in the actual retrieving of the check. When I received the email that stated I will have 1 opportunity to print the check I was quite nervous. I don’t have a printer so I would go the direct deposit route. The process took almost an hour because I was nervously to hit the next screen. Plus at the end was when you were forth coming about the 3%service fee. I thought that should have been stated at the beginning of this process. And seriously, why was there a fee? It felt wrong for that to be charged to me from my money.
