The first person I spoke with did not forward the claim but the second person did it very quickly.
have not received check yet after 18 days from filing claim.

I am very pleased for the prompt response and ease of resolution. However, I have NOT been able to deposit the check after printing via mobile deposit. I will attempt an in person deposit and hope that will go well. Pamela Anderson

To report the incident was easy and staff at Amazon were very pleasant. The form was difficult as not everything would upload and I had to try multiple times. I was unable to send the video of the damage. Nevertheless, you took my claim seriously and resolved it even without the video, just pictures. It was initially a very frustrating situation but I am much calmer now and happy with the turnout. Thank you!

I never felt like I was dealing with a person as every email came from "claims." I'm not trying to make a new friend but even when I replied to whoever to thank them for their speed I had to write "Dear Claims Person". Maybe it's supposed to be impersonal.
