A paper cheque takes too long. It should be etransfer, or put onto your account as credit for an option.

The process was very quick, which was surprising. The people were helpful and pleasant.
Overall, a very fine experience. Was difficult getting started. Could not find proper guidance on my account website to make a claim.. Found a 1-800 number on "Google" and followed up. It was a claims number for USA and not Canada. Happily they forwarded me through to the correct Canadian contact. FYI - The driver that got stuck in our driveway and did the damage is still delivering in the area. He subsequently got stuck in a neighbours driveway. I'm not sure if they've made a claim, but I am hoping that Amazon will touch base with the driver, in hopes of modifying his behavior. (Seems to be in too much of a hurry!) Cheers
I was surprised at the quick resolution of my claim, but I was extremely uneasy with printing a check. I was unable to use my banks mobile app but was able to use the drive-up ATM. I was relieved when I saw the bank accepted the deposit.

The amount of the pay out will not replace the type of mailbox that we have now. We will have to get a smaller mailbox in order to not be out of pocket. We Feel that the payout should replace the mailbox with one of similar value.
I came home to find three delivery trucks on my street. The first had taken out my mailbox; the other two were taking that truck's packages to deliver. The man in charge agreed that the first truck was responsible. I had to call him several times---and take calls from his boss---to get this process started. The boss at one point came to my house when only my wife was home and got a photo of the receipt for the new mailbox. (It's been almost a month. The Postal Service needed a new mailbox to deliver mail to.) Still, I had to provide all this documentation---photos and the receipt---to you. I realize there are folks who try to scam Amazon and its delivery service. But I also think that once the driver in the street told me his team was responsible, the whole process should have been transparent to me. I should have gotten up one morning and there was a new mailbox.

I submitted my claim and was then re-asked the same questions again. I was then told my claim had been approved and I would be contacted with an Amazon Gift Card which I have not received. I then messaged my adjustor about this and have received no response.
After I began communicating with Alexis Posinski the process moved quickly. Alexis was very professional, very pleasant and very helpful, and is the reason for my #4 response.

I was told communication would be within 24 hours and most replies took more than one day. Although, it is the Holiday season. I do appreciate all the help I received from everyone. Every phone conversation was very pleasant. My issue was only with email responses.
