Expected to have a problem with my claim, surprised me that they were so prompt. That the way business should be handled. Thank you for taking care of this so promptly.
I was very glad the driver did stop after striking our mailbox. The driver indicated to me that claims department would contact me about the accident. I had to contact Amazon to “push” the claim forward. A claim number had been generated but no contact from the company. Living in a rural area, our internet speed is slow. It took time to upload documents/screen shots attachments to claim form. I’m not sure some of our elderly neighbors could complete the online process.

Submitted a quote as requested, for $4400 in damage repair. Claim was closed with a payment of $300 based on a one-sided decision from the claims agent. I was never sent a quote from a landscaping company at a $300 price point and now have no ability to complete the repair. Agent suggested waiting 5 months until Spring to repair my lawn, which is completely unacceptable

It was extremely difficult to find out how to report the claim. The driver that caused the damage was rude and no help. Had to search online for information. One chat line actually tried to sell me a $46 a month legal advice membership! Once I finally got connected here everything went very well. Amazon should make the information regarding filing a claim easier to find.

I just wanted to add that everyone: the delivery man whose truck caused the damage (Omar who notified me of the accident), the supervisor (Sagar) who sent me the driver's photo, Bonnie who handled the claim at ARC and another ARC or Amazon rep were very pleasant and prompt in handling this matter. I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical at how this claim would be handled since the pictures of the damage didn't really show the true nature of the damage. I was also skeptical of having to deal with such a large corporation and thought I would be given the "run-around". Having said that, I think the offer from Amazon was fair and practical and the response time was quite fast, almost immediate. Thanks for this experience and I hope I don't have to go through this again. despite the positives. Stephen Karlson
